MODEL APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a model at Once Upon a Frill. As a community-run EGL event, organised by members of the Australian EGL community for the Australian EGL community, we rely on the passion and involvement of people like you.

We are seeking volunteers anywhere from sizes AU 4 to 26.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone willing to volunteer their time—your support helps bring our creative vision to life.

PARTICULARS

Models will be required to be available Friday for dress rehearsal and Saturday for the fashion show. You will be required no more than up to x4 hours each day.

**Rehearsal times are TBA due to venue accessibility and will be advised closer to for successful applicants.

Availability

There will be snacks and refreshments made available both days.

Once Upon A Frill will have a small gift as thanks for volunteering your time.

Non ticket holders will have free access to the vendors hall from a set time on Sunday the 26th.

Compensation

Once Upon a Frill is a non-profit event. As such, models are required to be self-sufficient and will need to provide and prepare their own styling.

You will need the ability to prepare your own make up including wig/hair.

You will need your own:

Shoes
Undergarments such as bloomers and petticoat

If required you will need available your own:

Blouse
Socks/Tights
Accessories

Requirements

All volunteers will be contacted via email to advise the outcome of their application.

Successful applicants will be provided with a contract outlining the event particulars, along with further information regarding the brand they have been selected to represent, and any items they may need.

Results

Please note that different brands may have specific requirements for their selected models. This is to ensure each brand’s identity and aesthetic are represented accurately and consistently.

***In particular, Angelic Pretty USA requires models to be fully dressed in Angelic Pretty. Models selected to represent Angelic Pretty will therefore need to wear Angelic Pretty blouses, socks or tights, shoes, and accessories (with the exception of bloomers and petticoats).

Items do not need to be from the most recent releases, provided they are authentic Angelic Pretty pieces.

Please note that individual brands may have specific requirements for models. These guidelines are in place to ensure their brand identity and aesthetic are represented appropriately, and all brands reserve the right to set such requirements.

While featured in the event, participating brands are not financially funding the show; garments are generously provided on loan to Once Upon a Frill.

All application information is kept confidential and is not shared with third parties. It is only accessible to event organisers and select brand representatives for the purposes of model selection and coordination.
